My Journey into More Blog Traffic

As part of my (semi) weekly adventure into more traffic I am posting the results of the last week. This is not really an accurate measure of traffic building success but I have already typed this far, so why not?

Just to refrest your memory, I am on a quest to build blog traffic. This is not about monetization, yet, it is about traffic.

To recal last weeks stats

Technoratti Rank: 2,655,296
Alexa Rank: 21,699,16303|Linking In: 21
Around 15 pv a day, not worth
RSS Subscribers 18

In the last week I have begun to interact on several blogs as well as forums with links to the blog. I also started posting more often giving folks more reason to stop by. On the negative, I switched to a new domain. I did a 301 redirect from the old domain so the link juice will transfer eventually but for now, soem stats will get clobbered.

Here is where we are at:

Technoratti Rank: I get the following error
We could not load your blog. Please check the URL and make sure you can load your blog in your browser. No wonder Shoemoney says they are less and less relevant.
Alexa Rank: None yet. Domain is still too new.
23 page views a day on 48 total uniques in the past week +slightly, still not worth mentioning. But we are going in the right direction.

Not sure what other metric I should use.
